Comments: I have a female black roan GSP from the July '07 litter of Woody x Kirwin. What an amazing dog! She is an awesome hunter with excellent hunt drive and a natural retrieve. Very smart and willing to work. Woody definitely produces some great dogs! If anyone has a pup from the same litter or would like more information about Addie, please let me know. Thanks Shawn!

Comments: I bought a GSP pup in December from the Woody/Lucy litter. I can't say enough good about her. She is very smart and my SO says very birdy. Plus she is such a good looking girl my vet is discouraging spaying her.

Comments: To anyone that wants to know, Shawn is not just saying that Woody throws awesome pups, I know for a fact that he does. At a little over a year old, Bones was on 6 different species of game birds in the state of Oregon. He is a spectacular instinctive dog. Shawn has always taken really good care of me in getting me what I want in dogs. That's why I'm getting 2 more from him.

Comments: I would just like to thank Mr. Eisenhauer for introducing my father and I to the "Crow's Little Joe" Line. We have always wild bird hunted with great stock such as grandaughters from Elhew Snakefoot and daughters from Elhew Seahorse just to name a couple. I have to admit while they were good classy bird dogs, they don't even come close to the bird finding ability of the "Cannon Nosed" CLJ dogs. I have a double grandaughter from Crow's Little Joe and Shawn's Molly female and at 13 months it is already shown more bird finding ability than any dog I've ever hunted behind. I questioned Shady Meadows claims of the CLJ females hitting their birds from 40 to 60 yards away. I am now a believer. These dogs have astonishing noses and mine has proven easy to train. Shawn is honest and a great guy to deal with. I highly recommend his kennels and especially the CLJ bred dogs as well as the CLJ/ Honky Tonk Attitude Cross. Nate King

Comments: I got a little long winded on the last post. Bottom line is I had a 20-25 minute conversation with Clint and I felt as though Ruby would be cared for during transport as I would if I were doing it myself. Two days after Ruby was picked-up Clint had her delivered to us. Thanks to Shawn and Clint alike. Anyone with questions about Ruby and/or our experience with Shawn and Clint can contact me at my e-mail.

Comments: I bought a female German Shorthair puppy from Shawn and very happy with her so far. She came from a Lacey/Woody breeding and with the looks of that pedigree she is going to be fantastic. Ruby is an extremely great looking black/roan pup. Everyone of the pups in that litter were good looking. Everyone that see's Ruby ask where we got her because they have not seen the black coloration in a shorthair before. Thank you Shawn for putting together some really nice breedings that produce pups like Ruby. I would also like to mention Clint of the "Puppy Express Delivery". Another fantastic guy. I had reservations of having an 8 week old puppy sent across country 1600 miles in transport for fear of emotional and social issues with the puppy later on. My wife and I had originally planned to make the trek ourselves, 3200 miles round trip to pick up Ruby. After talking with Shawn who reassured me she would be fine and that Clint was top notch I decided to consider it. I got Clint's numb

Comments: Just a note to let you know the Terra and Gracie are doing great so far this year. Terra has taken to my hunting style, and is doing great at everything except retrieves. She's satisfied to find the bird, but not interested in bringing it to hand. Gracie is AWESOME! For a year-old pup she exceeds all my expectations. Her nose is outstanding, and her points are already very staunch. I took the chance of hunting her alongside Terra this past weekend, even though she's still so young. I whoa'ed her after the first point Terra made, and she was backing every time after that. I think it helped that I had beeper collars on both of them. Once she understood that the point signal meant a bird, she was perfectly happy to honor. She still wants to play a little on retrieves, but is improving. All-in-all, I'm a very happy guy with two great bird dog companions. Hope things are going well for you.

Comments: Hi Shawn I just wanted you to know how much fun I'm having with Lilly.I got her home and it was cold. She had been in the back of my truck for 10 hours so I thought what the heck I'll let her stay in the house tonight knowing that I would have a mess to clean up the next day.Well 2 weeks later and she is still in the house and has not made me clean up any messes. Now to the good stuff.I took her to a state park in my area and she got on two pheasants in the first 20 minutes and then she got real birdie she hunts like crazy.I just went to Kentucky for four days and hunted only one day with her. What a job she did.I got shots at five coveys and missed two more coveys so that was seven coveys in about 2 1/2 hours.I'm going to hunt her on Tuesday on pheasants I'm having to much fun for a 58 year old. Most fun I have ever had with pants on.The best part is I have had her out about 8 times and I have not had to use the e collar she responds with a whistle so good that I have not used th
