| Comments: | Shawn, Sadie’s got a wonderful temperament and she is fully a part of our family. The children love her to death and our older dog tolerates her well. I believe she is thriving; her health has been excellent and all indications are that she will be a great dog. I plan to hunt her (in IL) the first week of December. I am also looking for places to hunt in Florida and maybe if I’m lucky I’ll get out a few times this season closer to home. Lady, the other pup is at my dad’s house in Gainesville (2 hours SW). She has been (I believe) a saving grace for him. We lost mom last year and having a puppy to care for, keep him company and require his attention has helped him persevere. He gets Lady out on long walks through woods that surround his neighborhood and he talks glowingly about how smart she is. “She’s the smartest dog I’ve ever owned.” And I can add that he’s owned quite a few. |
